Based in Docking, Norfolk, Docking Devils is an FA Charter Standard football club offering FA qualified coaching to children from the age of three right through to sixteen, regardless of ability. The club has grown rapidly over recent years but in order to raise their profile in the community, reach out to more people and add another dimension to the social and administrative aspects of the organisation, the club committee decided that a new website was needed.

The brief for the website was to provide the following:

• An overview of who Docking Devils are, what they do, where they are and how to contact them.
• A means for the club to publish news stories, match reports, fixture lists and league tables.
• A 'notice board' style page for posting the times, dates & locations of important pending events such as committee meetings and fundraising days.
• An easily updateable photo gallery showing pictures of the teams, individual players and coaches in their club colours.
• A referenceable catalogue of the club's constitution, policies and codes of conduct.
• A secure, moderated discussion forum for the players, coaches and parents to be able to do anything from discussing team tactics to arranging lifts or even have the odd bit of banter about whether Lampard is better than Gerrard!
• Links to the websites of the club's sponsors, effectively making the website a financially profitable endeavour while also boosting the community profile of those sponsors.
• Finally, the design and presentation of the website had to reflect the professionalism of the club while also meeting the available budget.
