Business Events First is a Bristol-based Business-to-Business company which specialises in marketing and communications. BE First runs interactive training courses in fields such as Strategic Marketing, Web 2.0 and Online Marketing, Strategic Corporate Communications and PR, Investor Relations & Crisis Communications and Issues Management. BE First provided emersolve with powerpoint mock-ups of how they wanted their website to look and provided us with the words to drop in once we'd created the site structure that they were looking for. Round this off with a few themed images to create a consistent site-wide look-and-feel and you are left with a clean, simple and effective site reflecting the company's image and values.


The brief for the website was to provide the following:

• A clean, professionally presented website based on the company's own mock-ups.
• Themed artwork to be adapted and re-used throughout the site to create a consistent look-and-feel.
• A website structure that is optimised to allow comprehensive and accurate indexing by all of the major search engines.
• Submission of the website to all major search engines to ensure that the website is given a good "kick-start" to get it up the search rankings.
